For those who remember Louis Naudi (IHG Group HR), remember the great heart Louis had and although he passed away and is enjoying eternal life, he left a positive impact on those who knew him of how one should live a peaceful life, dedicating most of ones time to help others.
Being a good friend and colleague, many nice thoughts come to my mind when I see his photo on my office desk but one in particular relates to the Blood donation day we organize at GSH.
Way back in 2002, Louis had taken the initiative to organize this day for all employees at Radisson SAS Bay Point. I really liked the idea and always felt the need to follow his footsteps.
Since 2006, every 4 months, the Blood donation day is organized.
Till today at least 200 GSH employees decided to endure the little pain from the needle to help save lives by donating blood.
An e-mail is sent to all IHG properties informing them of this day but unfortunately so far no one ever came, let’s hope we can change this and involve everyone.
Please help those in need and donate blood as one day it might be you or someone close.
